There is not that much stretch in the fabric, and it does not roll. The fabric is also light weight. It's also nice and wide so would be great for a skirt or something. It never ceases to amaze me that this fabric could have been folded up and stored away for more than 40 years. When you open it up it does not even have a fold mark.
You have to look twice at the pattern, since it appears to be random, and then all of a sudden you see the pinwheels. The "stripe" pattern runs the width and not the length of the fabric.
This is a vintage fabric, decades old. And although it's been in storage in a dry, safe place, it does not show any degree of age. It LOOKS like a vintage fabric, not a new fabric.. This fabric is for projects using vintage patterns and crafts for an authentic look. This particular fabric does not have any fading, and is in pretty close to mint condition
Fabric is clean and ready for cutting out your project!!!!
Background Color(s): White
Print Color(s): Burgundy, Baby Blue and Black
Print Pattern: Each pattern square in the fabric pattern is 1.3 x 1.5 cm across.
Length: 56" (1.5 yards). (Continuous length)
Content: Feels like 100% Polyester but may be a poly blend but I doubt it.
Care: This is a suggestion: Machine wash cold to avoid any color run. Tumble dry low heat. Not really needed but if you must - Iron on reverse side medium heat.
Notes: Definitely calls out to something really "throwback thursday" style.
It does not smell musty and I cannot find signs that it was kept around pets.
Some pictures and colors may vary due to differences in camera lighting and/or monitor settings.
All fabric is described as is and kept in a smoke free environment.
